1. Tell us about your role at AudienceView?
I’m a Customer Success Manager, which means it’s my job to be a trusted advisor who helps organizations leverage our platform to reach their business goals – achieve success – if you will. Basically, I get to spend my days talking to our customers and learning about the many unique ways they use our platform. Then, I use my experience to make recommendations on how they can activate additional features or further leverage features they are already using.
2. You may be a new member of the team, but you have a long history with our platform. What are the benefits of being an AudienceView user in past lives?
It’s true. I’ve been a client for the past seven years at three different venues. I am able to see things from the client’s perspective because I was one for so long, which is a huge benefit to me and to our customers. The relationships I have from my involvement with INTIX as well as AVConnect conferences and different AV users groups are also really beneficial. Customers trust me because they’ve known me for so long and I am one of them.
3. You’re an active INTIX member. Why do you think others would benefit from participating with the association?
The connections you make at INTIX are invaluable. I wouldn’t be where I am in my career without the relationships that I’ve built through my involvement with the organization. If I ever need advice about anything related to live events or ticketing, I know there is always someone at INTIX who’s gone through it before and can share their expertise. Everyone in our industry would benefit from being a member and attending the conference. It’s a great place to meet others who work in ticketing and live entertainment. I am currently Chair of the Regional Ticketing Group and I’ve gotten to know a lot of folks from across the U.S. through my work with this committee. I am even thinking of starting a regional group in the Phoenix area.
4. What is the first app you open in the morning?
My calendar app. I’m really into planning and it helps me know what to expect from my day. A close second would be the Weather Channel app. Though, now that I live in Arizona, all I need to know is that it’s hot and sunny and will always be hot and sunny.
5. What’s the best live event you’ve ever attended and why?
Hands down, Pixies and Violent Femmes at Red Rocks circa 2005. The music of both bands shaped my youth and seeing them both at the most incredible natural outdoor venue in the world was like going to Mecca.
